Monday, April 25, 2022 by Ceri Jones | Administration

To all pupils, guardians and music coordinators.

Unfortunately Covid is an odd disease and after a brief spell of recovery I became unwell again and am still in hospital. Thank you to friends and family for updating and apologies to anyone who has been missed.

Dear Pupils

Thank you for your cards

I am feeling much better but a little tired and will be in touch as soon as lessons can restart. I hope some of you are able to take part in the Revellers concert.

table! As I now have access to internet we can start on some composer challenges and see where musically that takes us. Do you think you could set me a musical challenge or could you set a challenge for another pupil?

Have a look under Challenges and type your response in the practice are or ask your parents/guardian to email it to me!

Anything except songs related to the name bruno is acceptable!

It does not even need to be for your main instrument or playing level.

Financial assistance music lessons Sept 2021

Friday, June 25, 2021 by Ceri Jones | Uncategorized

Applications for the Kent Music financial assistance scheme 2021/2022 are now open. If awarded the scheme can fund 75% of the cost of music lessons and in some cases provide a free loan instrument

If you are currently in receipt of a bursary or your financial circumstances have changed due to COVID please apply as soon as possible as there is a limited amount of assistance available.

Applications can be made via the Kent Music website link found HERE

If you require assistance completing the form or have any questions please contact me via email or by clicking HERE

If you know of a child aged 5-18 in Kent who would like to learn A musical instrument but is currently prevented for financial reasons then please pass this information on.

We believe every child should have the opportunity to learn an instrument if they want to and so can provide details of teachers if we do not teach the instrument they would like to learn.

Covid - Self Isolation

Thursday, June 24, 2021 by Ceri Jones | Admin

Dear all

A member of my household has been told to self isolate which means all lessons need to revert to online lessons until Wednesday 30th June.

Unfortunately having had covid/both vaccinations, long covid and regular negative lateral flow tests does not exempt anyone  from self isolation.

Under Covid restrictions and risk assessments I cannot have pupils visiting the household while anyone is self isolating.

i will be in contact to arrange online slots with those affected - well between burst school bubbles and this at least we managed a some face to face lessons……♫♫♫
